Last year’s drought has had a lasting effect on the gardens but our gardeners have been very busy this last twelve months. Planning, pruning, moving, planting, building, clearing and planting.
We are open this year on the weekend of June 22nd 23rd 1pm until 5pm
We have one ‘resting’ garden this year and one new garden. Our Chelsea gold medal winner has been busy this year with Chelsea so is resting. Our new garden is conveniently next door to the existing garden on Ellers drive; The garden is being restored to be in keeping with the 1960’s, grade 2 listed, single storey dwelling (not open) it surrounds. They have made an excellent start.
Four of the eight gardens are on Whin Hill and St Eric’s is within walking distance but those not so nimble may need to drive across to Ellers and Middlefield Rd.
We continue with our Weekend Ticket for £5 valid for both days so if you have time you can visit over two days and leisurely enjoy the gardens. Accompanied Children under 16 are free and welcome.

The tickets are £5 for the two days; children under 16 free (must be accompanied )
There is a treasure hunt for children - all winners, a raffle, tombola, home produce stall and guess the name of the teddy; all good fun Plants for sale in each garden;
We remain committed to raising money for Doncaster local charities: last year raising an incredible £5,000.
