The Camellias and Magnolias have been fantastic this year and the early Rhododendrons are looking good.
The new bed has come on a pace - manure and spent compost dug in to improve the sandy soil. I moved Cornus Radiant Rose (Dogwood) from the middle of the garden; it will do much better here, also a Fringe Tree which was in too shady an area - replaced with Mag Henry Kern; Grevillea Jenkinsonii, Camellia Desire and Kalmia Elf; all moved from the shrubbery.
I wandered down to No 2 last week - my goodness a lot of work has gone on there - major renovation and planting; looking amazing.
Benches are repainted - thanks to P
Conifers trimmed - thanks to D
Off to Harrogate Flower show tomorrow - will try not to buy to many plants ...... but have a gap in the white bed and the new border isnt full...yet
LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT OUR OPEN WEEKEND JUNE 20/21ST
