At our February meeting we discussed the outline information for posters/fliers and publicity. We haven't quite finalised our two charities for 2015 but are well on the way, concentrating on local charities where the money we raise can make a real difference.
The gardens weekend will be a Midsummer opening on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June - five gardens will be open on each day from 2.00pm until 5.00pm; with a total of seven gardens opening. One change this year, to help with the flow of visitors, you can buy your map and start in any one of the open gardens on Whin Hill Rd. Last year there was rather a rush at number 2 at 2 o'clock.
There will be home made teas, plants for sale, a raffle and tombola.
It is hoped this blog will become a source of information for visitors, with gardeners writing about their gardens as we prepare to open and maybe posting some photographs to encourage you to visit over the Midsummer weekend.
We look forward to seeing you in June.
